Waterpipe bowls from KS APPO are characterised by their high-quality clay composition and excellent properties in terms of heat storage and heat conductivity. In the case of the multi-hole bowls of the Black Edition, the clay mixture is mixed with dark pigments, which give the bowl a dark grey to black base colour after the firing process.

In addition, the bowls are given a coloured partial glaze, which on the one hand gives the stone bowls an attractive design and on the other hand makes subsequent cleaning easier. Because of the smooth surface, less residues of molasses, tobacco juices and soot settle on the clay. Not only does this look better, but it also prevents the bowl from taking on an annoying aftertaste of previously used tobaccos as a result of previous smoking sessions.
