Heisenberg 18.8 > 14.5 Pre-cooler with Drum Percolator

The Heisenberg Drum-Perc pre-cooler for glass bongs is also known as an ash catcher and ensures optimum smoke distribution with its unusual drum percolator. The precooler is made of borosilicate glass. It has a female connection for bong bowls with 14.5 mm ground glass joints. The 18.8 core joint is angled vertically downwards. For this reason, the pre-cooler is best suited for bongs with a corresponding vertical connection. However, it can also be used in combination with sideways connections (e.g. 45°).

What makes the drum pre-cooler so excellent for your bong?

Drum Percolator - The Drum Perc is the flared structure of coloured glass at the end of the chillum, inside the water chamber. The glass body has several slits around the edges through which the smoke is drawn and split up during inhalation. This creates a strong vortex inside the water chamber, so that first harmful particles are caught early and the flavour can fully develop during smoking.

Good draught - In the Drum Perc pre-cooler, not only is the smoke cooled evenly, but foreign substances such as ash are also filtered out - and much better than with conventional pre-coolers. At the same time, the suction from the pre-cooler is pleasant and not at all strenuous when taking a puff.

Polished connection to the bong - The 18.8 connection to the bong is made of smooth polished glass. It has a vertical connection angle and is therefore well suited for bongs with 90° connection. The smooth surface minimises the build-up of goo around the joint. As a result, the pre-cooler is also excellently suited for the combination with an oil rig. The pre-cooler can also be used with beakers and standard bongs with a slanted connection angle such as 45°. In this case, make sure that the percolator is submerged far enough that the smoke cannot pass through it without being filtered.
